Westlake Information Technology Academy

Open to all current 9th and 10th graders who are interested in improving their technology skills and getting better prepared for college and a career. The Academy features small class sizes, college-prep classes, field trips, guest speakers, mentor program, job shadows and internships. Technology classes include Microsoft Office, Web Page Design, Computer Graphics, and Mass Media. All classes are taught on the WHS campus by WHS teachers.

In Memoriam

Mr. Maki

Mike Maki, much loved math teacher at Westlake High School, passed away at Los Robles Hospital on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident that occurred on October 10, while Mike was riding his bicycle to school.

In recognition of Mr. Maki’s dedication and love for the entire Westlake High School community, the Westlake High School Scholarship Foundation has established a memorial scholarship in his name. In order to correctly earmark all donations, please indicate Mr. Maki’s name on your donation. Donations can be made to the scholarship fund by either dropping of a donation at the school attention to the Westlake High School Scholarship Foundation or by mail to the school to the attention:
